Tangerino restaurant in Rabat by AMARGUS: bespoke furniture and timber joinery, one-off pieces (suspended boat, tables, chairs), bar and wine wall.
Luxury does not announce itself: it shows on the second look.
Tangerino is a restaurant in Rabat for which AMARGUS delivered, in 2022, bespoke furniture and timber joinery.
The dining room is organised around one-off pieces designed and made for the venue. Above the tables, a suspended timber boat gives the room its point of reference.

The wine wall is treated as a piece of joinery: diamond racks fill the wall and keep the bottles in view from the tables.

Every project begins with a constraint, not a style.
The bar is clad in timber, in the same language as the wine wall, so that both read as one ensemble from the dining room.

The tables and chairs were made to measure for Tangerino, in keeping with the boat and the wine wall. The large round table is hand-lacquered in glossy black and white stripes.
One-off pieces suspended boat, hand-lacquered table, tables, chairs · Joinery wine wall, bar cladding.

AMARGUS designed and made the restaurant's furniture and timber joinery: one-off pieces such as the suspended boat, the tables, the chairs, the bar cladding and the wine wall.
Because they give the room an identity found nowhere else. Designed for the venue, they fit its dimensions, the way service runs and the intended atmosphere, whereas catalogue furniture imposes its own formats.
By treating it as a piece of joinery rather than technical equipment. At Tangerino, diamond racks fill one wall: the bottles become a backdrop visible from the tables.
